Private Road Sealcoating

It's been almost four years since we've had the private roads in the Association sealcoated. Sealcoating extends the life of the existing asphalt, prolonging the need to resurface the roads, which we will eventually be required to do. The roads are deteriorating but, with proper care, still have several years of life left.

The Board is in the process of gathering bids and the work should begin sometime in July or early August, if all goes as planned. We have already put the project off until Verizon finishes thier existing project.

A contractor will be chosen at the next Board Meeting on June 30th (see the calandar on the main PHPHA website). Notices will be sent out prior to the sealcoating project so we can all be prepared. We will all need to participate in this project by making sure sprinklers are turned off, cars are not parked in the street, etc.

There will also be discussion, at the next Board Meeting, on how this project will be funded. Homeowners are always welcome to attend the Board Meetings.

Please check back for updates.
